Cock-a-Do the Rooster (2025)

Cock-a-Do the Rooster has popped up in many of Lynette’s books already, and has been patiently waiting for his story to be told.  It is recounted to a small, sad, red tractor called Charlie, by the Good Farmer.  Finding a bird’s nest in Charlie’s motor, the Farmer tells Charlie about Cock-a-Do the rooster who also found a bird’s nest. But Cock-a-Do – because he doesn’t feel very good about himself – decides to wear the birds nest as a crown to make himself look more handsome.  The story helps Charlie and Cock-a-Do see how special they already are without comparing themselves to others.
