Joshua the Teddy Bear (2024)

After the destruction caused by Cyclone Gabrielle in Hawke’s Bay and northern New Zealand in 2023, I decided it was time to tell the story of Joshua the Teddy Bear. I knew Joshua personally and had seen the big effect he had had in Christchurch after the 2011 earthquake as he went door-to-door round the Red Zone. People hugged Joshua and Joshua hugged them. This book is dedicated to volunteers who gave hugs of hope to people devastated by the Christchurch earthquakes and Cyclone Gabrielle. This is a true story.
